I uninstalled Rapport and the Media Center Extender configured without any problems. I've checked and both the firewalls in windows and the router see the xbox and allow for extenders to pass through and still the connection wont hold and I've even turned navigate here I am using the same computer with the same NIC with the same Ethernet cable with the same SOHO router (Linksys WRT54GL) with the same Xbox 360.
I never got WMC working, though I stopped trying shortly after messing with the first few things mentioned in this thread.
