J2D2.2 can be soldered to either the bottom of the mobo (as shown), or to the rf board (missing picture). Go to the BIOS settings and search for LPT mode settings. The Flashconfig is dependant on the mainboard version, other valid values are: FlashConfig - System Types 01198010 - Xenon, Zephyr, Opus, Falcon 00023010 - Jasper 16mb 008A3020 - Jasper 256mb 00AA3020 Generated Sat, 05 Nov 2016 17:33:35 GMT by s_wx1196 (squid/3.5.20)
When you've checked that, plug the parallel cable into your turned-off computer, the power supply into your Xbox, and the power cable into the power outlet. I changed to the power supply that came with the console instead of the one that's in my "mod room", and it seems to be dumping much better. the freezing you speak of could be due to the device you were dumping to... This tutorial explains how to read the Xbox360's NAND/Flash via a PC's parallel/"printer" port in as clean and easy as possible a way. You will need to know which wire goes to which pin at the end. I (some11) bought a LPT Cable (Nikkai LPT Parallel Printer Cable [L79BT]) from Maplins. navigate here Yes, my password is: Forgot your password?

So once NandPro has finished dumping, press the up arrow key (or retype the command), CHANGE THE FILENAME TO NAND2.BIN, press Enter, and dump it a second time.

and when i open it with xebuild it gives and error "Cant determine if it is a big or small block nand" i ignored that message and entered cpu key then Again, all you have to have is the power cable plugged in, not on. Get another coffee. It is possible that there are one or two bad blocks on your NAND (error 25x), so don't worry if you get that error once or twice.
ask in the forums! Recheck wiring, change LPT mode, or try a different computer. eebeejay, Jan 7, 2010 #14 bhetrick Active member Joined: Aug 14, 2003 Messages: 4,681 Likes Received: 0 Trophy Points: 66 You just have a regular 16mb nand, right? It worked for iD4rK, and others.
Slower, but better. (fingers crossed) Will post results later.
